Find Tahoe Tessie is an Augmented Reality (AR) application where users can delve into how climate change impacts Lake Tahoe by embarking on a quest to uncover the mythical creature “Tahoe Tessie.”
Tahoe Tessie may be fictitious, but the effects of climate change are undeniably real.

<ul>
 <li>Utilize your mobile device to explore the lake and its environs in search of Tahoe Tessie. Uncover hints related to water clarity, dissolved oxygen, algae, and the food chain. Every clue is supplemented with an inquiry and a visual aid, be it an image, animation, video, or 360-degree video.</li>
 <li>Throughout your journey, you will receive scientific instruments to aid in decoding the clues and advancing closer to discovering Tahoe Tessie. These instruments serve as 3D/AR educational experiences, offering insights into practical applications akin to those employed by scientists monitoring the lake's well-being.</li>
</ul>

Upon finding Tahoe Tessie each time, you unlock a new augmented reality animation. With your phone, you can situate Tessie via augmented reality directly on the lake (or even in your living space), capture a photo, and share with acquaintances — “Behold, I have encountered Tessie!”
